Portraits: Paparazzi

Recently I decided to practice my direct flash photography skills and I'd say I did amazing this time around.

Gloria and I went to a spot in the skywalks one cold evening to capture some paparazzi-like images so I could practice shooting in darker locations.

What I learned from this experiment was to always make sure to check your images after you take them to double-check they weren't extremely overexposed due to the flash. This technique made it possible to keep my ISO low and my shutter speed around 250, creating high-resolution images in bad lighting.

I can't wait to use this skill in future sessions.
