Excited for Baby Boy Bruce | Maternity Photos at the Des Moines Rose Garden

I don't think there is anything quite as exciting as counting down the days until a new baby arrives. The Bruce family is getting ready to welcome baby boy Bruce, and their maternity session at the Rose Garden was the perfect way to take stunning photos of Lauren and Josh.

The evening couldn't have been more beautiful with the roses blooming and the sun shining. One of my favorite parts of the session was meeting their adorable puppy, aka their first baby. You can tell this little guy is already so loved, and he hasn't even made his grand entrance yet.

When directing Lauren and Josh, I gave them some fun prompts and different poses to try out. That way, their gallery was diverse, and they had so many amazing photos to choose from! I love sending those candid, fun images. They are just different and fun to have besides the standard smile pictures.

The Rose Garden is easily one of my favorite locations for photos in Des Moines. Between the colorful flowers and beautiful greenery, it creates a gorgeous backdrop. It was so much fun spending the evening with you two, and I can't wait to meet your baby boy soon! He is already one lucky little guy.
