Engaged & Glowing: Blaine + Lindsey

If you’ve ever wondered what happens when you combine a cool art museum, two photogenic humans, and being a little goofy, we have your answer: ART. Or at least some seriously fun engagement photos.

Blaine and Lindsey chose the Des Moines Art Center for their shoot, which, let’s be honest, is a pro-level move. It’s got everything — bold architecture, dramatic lighting, giant sculptures that you’re probably not supposed to lean on (but we may have).

Blaine showed up in full “casual cool” mode wearing tan trousers and a white button-up. Lindsey however, brought the style, switching between a breezy dress and an all-white dress combo that basically said, “Yes, I do Pinterest. Why do you ask?”

Let’s be real: engagement photos can feel a little stiff if you take it all too seriously. But Blaine and Lindsey were fully themselves — cracking jokes and generally just vibing with the whole experience. The result? Photos that feel less like “posed engagement shoot” and more like “two friends goofing off and looking great doing it.”
