Celebrating Katies Success

Last spring Katie graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Graphic Design. She looked radiant and overjoyed to be finishing up her education! Wearing an emerald green dress she strutted around campus for an hour with me to photograph the celebration.

It was a gloomy day in Ames but an overcast never stopped me from capturing the perfect shot. Katie was a bit shy in front of the camera but after a while, she had fun with it, especially the cap toss poses! Plus that green dress made her eyes pop so well.

Spending time with Katie during her session was so much fun, I love asking people the most random questions and she answered them all. I wish Katie all the luck on her future journeys and hope nothing but joy and luck floats her way.
