Autumn Couples Session

Featuring Eric + Max

Beneath the canopy of the changing fall leaves at the Des Moines Art Center and Greenwood Park, Eric and Max joined me for their couples session when the leaves were at their peak. The iconic setting provided vibrant, rich hues of orange, red, and gold perfectly complementing the shared laughter that echoed throughout the session.

During their session, I gave them various prompts, some with movement and some with static posing. Most of the time couples express how they feel somewhat goofy when they do various prompts I throw at them, that's why I always love to be supper expressive when I show them what I'm looking for. It makes them feel less awkward, most of the time.

However, I hardly had this problem with Eric and Max! They were such a natural in front of the camera, and Max was all for the machine gun kisses and twirls. Plus, their outfits fit perfectly with the colors of the leaves and plants around the garden and pond.

Sadly, the session had to come to an end at some point, but not after a brisk loop around checking out the scenery! Filled with fun little moments and new memories, this session will be one of my favorites for a while.
