The Pereles family recently had a lively photo session at Water Works Park, the blooms were out and the sun was shining. They were my last photo session that day, and it couldn't have ended better. They all came and went with all my fun prompts to get those silly photos.

Capturing them
Water Works Park has a crab apple tree arboretum that blooms pink and white, almost like cherry blossoms. The colors these trees produce are stunning and photograph so well, I love scheduling sessions during this time.

The Pereles family session was filled with me telling them to do silly fun prompts and to also all stand together like they like each other (just kidding!).
Some of the best moments from the session:
The goofy photo I got of the kids with their silly faces
Photographing mom and dad with the flowers, because they deserve a cute pic together
Group hugs and tickle fights also happened
Tips and Tricks for a Smooth Session
The Pereles session went smoothly thanks to a few thoughtful preparations.
Plan for the kids’ energy levels: Schedule the session at a time when children are usually well-rested and fed to avoid crankiness.
Bring snacks and water: Keeping kids hydrated and satisfied helps maintain a positive mood.
Choose comfortable clothing: Coordinated outfits that allow movement keep kids happy and looking their best.
Involve the kids: Let children know what to expect and encourage them to participate in fun ways, like choosing a favorite spot or prop.
Keep the session flexible: Allow breaks and be ready to adapt to the kids’ needs to keep the atmosphere relaxed.
The Pereles family photos at Water Works Park was perfect and I couldn't have had more fun with them. Family portraits are more than just pictures, trust me I love having photos of my family hung up in my home. Investing in a session is always worth it.
