Featuring the Calkins

Iowa in the fall can be such a wondrous place full of rich colors and rolling hills, perfect for a fun photo session with the family. Especially if it's at Brenton Arboretum in Dallas Center, Iowa.

On this gorgeous October night, the weather was nice and warm and partially sunny, the Calkins met me near a small pond at the park that overlooked the valley after walking a short distance, such a cute treasure to find not even 20 minutes from their house.

They were such a cute family, that daughter of theirs was a little shy at first but after a while, she was just a ball of energy. Bouncing around the parents and getting some solo shots she was all excited to be an older sibling in just a few short weeks. I'd say the parents were pretty excited about the new addition to the family as well!

Getting details of the momma and pictures of the family was such a fun experience, especially knowing these are framed in their home now!
